On July 22, 2025, within the framework of the scientific conference entitled “Challenges and Opportunities for Commercial Arbitration in the Context of Digital Transformation”, the BigBoss International Arbitration Center (BBIAC) held Session 2 – a mock arbitral hearing – with the participation of arbitrators, lawyers, legal experts, and numerous students from Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
Attorney-at-Law Đinh Văn Tuấn, Master of Laws, participated in the mock hearing as the Presiding Arbitrator of the Arbitral Tribunal. Together with fellow arbitrators, he conducted a realistic simulation of a commercial dispute resolution proceeding, strictly adhering to the procedural rules and applicable legal regulations governing arbitration.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Mai Tien Luat – President of the BigBoss International Arbitration Center – emphasized that commercial arbitration, and in particular mock hearings, serve not only as a formal simulation but as an essential bridge between legal theory and professional practice, especially in the era of digital transformation.
Representing the academic institution, Ms. Dang Thi Thu Huyen – Dean of the Faculty of Law, Nguyen Tat Thanh University – expressed her hope that the mock hearing would provide students with firsthand exposure to a dispute resolution mechanism increasingly favored in the modern commercial environment.
The participating lawyers demonstrated exceptional legal competence through articulate advocacy, sharp analytical thinking, and professional courtroom demeanor. The Arbitral Tribunal operated with rigor, transparency, and full compliance with both statutory and procedural arbitration norms.
The mock arbitral hearing officially begins under the chairmanship of Attorney-at-Law Đinh Văn Tuấn, Presiding Arbitrator.
A highlight of the event was the in-depth sharing session by distinguished experts, including Mr. Le Nguyen Gia Thien, Mr. Chu Hai Thanh, and Mr. Dao Xuan Son. Their insights into practical experiences and emerging trends in arbitration proceedings offered participants a multidimensional perspective, enriching both legal knowledge and professional thinking.
